Dash Talent are keen to support the increase in performers at venues across Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
In a gradual easing of restrictions across Dubai’s hospitality sector amid the pandemic, a new circular from Dubai Tourism has laid out new rules for live entertainment.
Indoor and outdoor restaurants, pools and common areas in hotel establishments are allowed to host entertainers once more.
Only solo acts are allowed (so no groups or bands), and they can perform only on stage, at least two metres away from customers. Audience interaction is prohibited.
The rules apply to musicians, DJs and stage show performers all of whom must wear face masks in public at all times, as per the emirate’s ruling to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
The new rules exclude bars and nightclubs altogether, which are to remain closed for the time being.
