Are you ready to Battle?

REGISTER NOW for your chance to be the next Resident DJ on the REDFOOF.

A shortlist of 8 DJs selected by our BATTLE PANEL. Every week from FRIDAY 5TH NOVEMBER, 2 DJs will battle to the next round. But how do we know who wins the BATLLE? , THE PUBLIC WILL DECIDE!

With the first battle starting FRIDAY 5TH NOVEMBER 2021, each battle will be available on our website for the PUBLIC TO VOTE for the winner, votes will be available from SUNDAY 12PM, until THURSDAY 8PM.

BUT WAIT, there's a twist, on the day of the battle, every unique vote cast AT THE BATTLE, will be worth 3 VOTES, and will be added to the DJs votes!

SO THE MORE PEOPLE YOU BRING, THE MORE YOU STAND TO GAIN!

The FINAL will be on the 17th DECEMBER, where the winner of BATTLE RED will be announced. With the REDROOF DJ starting on Friday 24th December CHRISTMAS EVE! What a way to start.

Eligibility Rules

ALL DJ's MUST currently be register for the event.

ALL genres and sub-genres of DJ-centric music and artistry are accepted and encouraged! Process and Judging:

Entry Rules

1. Official RED ROOF DJ Battle ENTRY RULES:To be eligible:

Must be 21 years old or older (Valid ID REQUIRED for entry ).
Must submit a registration form and a submit a video during open submission dates (ENDs 16th October 8pm) (see video submission rules for more details).
8 Finalists will be chosen by the Battle Panel
First Battle will start on Friday 5th November, and will be weekly until the final on the Friday 17th December

2. Video Submission Rules:

Controllers can be used for submission videos; however, CDJ’s will be provided for the competition. If you are using a controller for the competition, you must supply your own controller.

A video must be provided and be no more than 10 minutes in length.
Video routines MUST include a minimum of 5-tracks.
All videos must be submitted with a completed registration form. Videos must include a brief introduction that includes your DJ name, where you’re from, and why you want to be the next RED ROOF resident DJ.
A full track list must accompany your video (track list section will be included on registration form).
All videos must be in HD format (720p and higher) with an unedited direct audio recording of your routine.
Videos may be used on YouTube and/or any other video outlets for promotional purposes only.
ALL submissions must be received BEFORE 16th October 8pm 2021. Any video(s) after the open submission dates will not be considered.
After review of the videos, 8 applicants will be picked for the competition starting on Friday 5th November. Each DJ will be contacted the by the 27th October 2021. We will post the 8 finalists on our web page and our social media sites.
Each set will be recorded live and uploaded to the Dash Talent Youtube channel and embedded on our website. The public will vote on our site, and votes will be open for 5 days and the DJ with the most likes will progress to the next round.

3. Competition and Judging Criteria:The competition will consist of the following:

Round 1: DJ 1 Vs DJ 2 - 60 minutes set each
Round 2: DJ 3 Vs DJ 4 - 60 minutes set each
Round 3: Winner of Round 1 Vs Winner of Round 2 - 60 minutes set each
Round 4: DJ 5 Vs DJ 6 - 60 minutes set each
Round 5: DJ 7 Vs DJ 8 - 60 minutes set each
Round 6, Semi final: Winner of Round 4 Vs Winner of Round 5 - 60 minutes set each
Round 7, Final: Winner of Round 3 Vs Winner of Round 6

4. Rights

We reserve the right to change any rules, at any time. We also reserve the right to exclude entrants due to anything we deem as misconduct.

Prizes

In addition to awesome exposure, the top 8 DJs also take home:

The winner will receive a Dash Talent contract for 12 weeks at Radisson RED at AED 1.2k per event (4hr set window). Starting on Christmas Eve and continuing every Friday.
